How Does a
QUOOKER Work

The Quooker system features a boiling water tap installed on the countertop, which is connected to a compact tank located within the kitchen cabinet. This tank functions similarly to a vacuum flask and is linked to the water supply.

Water within the Quooker tank is heated to 108 °C. The insulation surrounding the tank is so effective that minimal heat loss occurs, requiring only 10 watts of energy to maintain the water at this temperature. The water begins to boil only when the tap is activated, causing the temperature of the dispensed water to decrease to 100 °C. As water flows from the tap, fresh water is simultaneously drawn into the tank, where a specialized active carbon filter enhances its purity.

In addition to the boiling water tank, Quooker has introduced the Quooker CUBE, a system designed for chilled and sparkling water. This additional tank is installed alongside the boiling water tank within the kitchen cabinet.
